Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, the back office and the till, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or larger text.

What we aim for

Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2.
Text and controls with enough contrast to read at arm's length.
Status shown with words as well as colour (paid, late, out of stock).
Buttons on the till at least 52 pixels high for quick, sure taps.
Pages that work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
Motion kept to a minimum, and switched off if your device asks.

Known limits

The till is built for touch screens; using it with a screen reader has not yet been fully tested.
Some charts in the back office reports do not yet have a table version.
